To popularize safety knowledge and enhance the emergency protection capabilities of teenagers and families, on November 29, the Youth Volunteer Association of China-ASEAN School of Economics collaborated with the Gui Le Tong Children's Development Center to organize the "Little Safety Guardian" Safety Carnival event in Chaoyangli, Nanning. The event mobilized 37 volunteers, accumulating a total service duration of 148 hours, and reached over a hundred families. Through fun interactions and hands-on experiences, it guided children and parents to learn safety skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
On the day of the event, the volunteers arrived on time to check in and participated in specialized training. After the training, the volunteers, dressed in uniform blue vests, quickly took their positions, providing strong support for the smooth execution of the event.
The event featured multiple themed interactive booths such as "Escape the Fire Beast" and "Safety Board Game," covering fire safety, emergency rescue, and safety knowledge quizzes, integrating safety education into game challenges. Residents on site completed registration at the check-in area under the guidance of volunteers, learned the activity rules, and received clearance vouchers.
Functional booths were set up around different safety themes to facilitate experiential learning. Stalls such as "Escape the Fire Beast" and "Rapid Descent" focused on explaining the use of smoke masks, high-altitude escape techniques, and the method of wearing a five-point safety harness, enabling participants to master key fire evacuation points through scenario simulations. "Quick Bandaging" and "Bottle Knot" demonstrated wound dressing for bleeding and practical knot-tying techniques, enhancing children's and parents' emergency response and hands-on abilities. Meanwhile, "Safety Board Game" and "Q&A Session" incorporated fire safety knowledge and the "Five Preventions" into fun challenge activities, using quizzes and games to reinforce safety awareness and attract children to learn key points in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
